Preparation - Cleaning then scratching the surface to achieve a mechanic key for the materials to bond to.

Primer - helps to seep into porous concrete which creates a mechanic and chemical bond to the surface.

Base layer - is important to bond to the primed concrete or wood. This will be the coloured close to the design layer, giving the finished product depth.

Design Layer - is the thickest installed, it will be self levelling, providing a smooth flat stunning surface. The design layer may also be natural stone giving you outstanding grip and durability.

Epoxy resin flooring can add value to your home. Here are a few reasons why epoxy resin flooring is considered valuable:

  1. Aesthetics: Epoxy resin flooring offers a sleek and polished finish that can greatly enhance the visual appeal of your home. It creates a seamless and glossy surface that adds a touch of modernity and elegance to any space. The wide range of colors, patterns, and effects available with epoxy resin allows for customization that can align with current design trends or personal preferences.

  2. Durability and Longevity: Epoxy resin flooring is highly durable and can withstand heavy foot traffic, impacts, and daily wear and tear. It is resistant to scratches, stains, chemicals, and UV damage, making it a long-lasting flooring option. This durability ensures that the flooring retains its appearance and functionality for many years, adding value to your home by reducing the need for frequent repairs or replacements.

  3. Low Maintenance: Epoxy resin flooring requires minimal maintenance compared to other flooring options. Its non-porous and seamless surface makes it easy to clean and maintain. Regular sweeping, occasional mopping with mild soap and water, and the absence of grout lines or porous surfaces contribute to its low maintenance requirements. This aspect is highly valued by homeowners as it saves time and effort in upkeep.

  4. Improved Indoor Air Quality: Epoxy resin flooring is non-porous, which means it does not trap dust, allergens, or pollutants. This makes it a beneficial choice for individuals with allergies or respiratory sensitivities, as it can contribute to improved indoor air quality. The absence of grout lines or carpet fibers reduces the accumulation of dust and allergens, creating a healthier living environment.

  5. Versatility and Functionality: Epoxy resin flooring is versatile and can be applied to various areas within your home, including kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and basements. Its seamless and customizable nature allows for a uniform look throughout different spaces, creating a sense of continuity and flow.
